Praise for Wrong Number

Award-winning novel in the League of Utah Writers and LDStorymakers first chapter contests.

"Here's the exact way to turn an improbable plot into a rollicking
suspense novel, full of surprises and twists, and wonderful
characterizations." AND

"Christensen does a wonderful job of developing her characters. As
happens so rarely, I was able to close my eyes and imagine what each
character looked like. This is amazingly good writing. And you begin
to care about so many of the characters, without ever fully knowing who
you can trust. Christensen keeps you on the edge of your seat."

-- Jeff Needle prominent book reviewer from AML

"Wow! For your first suspense/thriller you smacked this one out of the park! I was very impressed with your storyline, your pacing, your characters, your attention to detail and accuracy, and your prose. I loved it! I read several books a year, and there are very few I can't put down when it's time for dinner or bed. Wrong Number is one of the few I HAD to finish. It was one of the few books I've read where afterword, I thought, dang, I wish I had written that! Congratulations."

--award-winning author Gregg Luke

"Rachelle Christensen has penned an exciting novel that will hook readers from the accidental discovery of a dead body to the thrilling and unexpected climax, with lots of twists and turns along the way. Don’t expect to get a lot of sleep with this one. If the thrills of the chase don’t get you, the thrills of the heart will. An excellent debut. I’ll be looking for more by this author."

Jeffrey S Savage, author of the Shandra Covington mystery series and the Farworld fantasy series

*

"With a gripping storyline and sympathetic characters, Wrong Number will keep you on the edge of your seat, the hairs on your arms on full alert, and your stomach in your throat until the very last page.  But in a good way."

Tristi Pinkston, author of Agent in Old Lace

*

"A gripping plot that revs its engines on page one, accelerates with each new chapter, and doesn’t come to a stop until you close the book at its satisfying conclusion."

ToriAnn Perkey, editor

*

"Rachelle Christensen weaves a tale of intrigue, suspense, and romance that is sure to please readers of all genres.  Aubree’s story captured me from the very first page, and her struggles—both internal and external—kept me cheering for her until the very end."

--Nichole Giles, author of Mormon Mishaps and Mischief, and The Sharp Edge of a Knife

*

"Rachelle Christensen is an excellent writer, with a flair for combining sweet, heart-warming romance with suspense. Her book, Wrong Number, started out fast-paced, kept me consistently wondering what was coming next, and reached a heart-stopping climax—a gripping page-turner the whole way through. I'd highly recommend the book to those who enjoy a romance as well as to those who enjoy a little romance mixed in with their suspense!"

Cindy Beck, Cup of Comfort contributor and co-author of Mormon Mishaps and Mischief.

I give Rachelle Christensen ten-plus out of ten for her debut novel and look forward to reading more of her work. Wrong Number is beautifully written, fast paced, and full of cliff hangers that make it impossible to put down. Characters and plot are well developed, and Aubree, the main character, had my sympathy and attention right from the first few pages.
Rachelle’s writing is vivid. I clearly visualized each new setting. Even the sounds and smells were vibrant, pulling me in. I recommend this book for all readers who enjoy mind-wrinkling suspense, well sprinkled with mystery and clean romance.

It was soo good! Can I just say how amazed I am at Rachelle J. Christensen's debut novel? I was captivated by it from the very beginning of this high intensity thriller, until the very end. She writes with a passion and love of words that blows me out of the water. Seriously. I wish I could write as good as her! I honestly had to finish the novel all in one night, because I knew I'd never sleep if I didn't!
